The FastStats mobile application will be retired on March 17, 2017. Users who wish to follow the latest updates on FastStats content may use the mobile friendly website or download the redesigned CDC mobile app, available on iOS https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/cdc/id487847188?ls=1&mt=8 devices.
Users with the FastStats app currently installed on their mobile devices may continue to use the app. However, the app will be pulled from the iOS app store and will no longer be available for updates or reinstallations. Additionally, pages that are added or removed from the FastStats website will not be reflected in the FastStats app.
FastStats is an official application from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) and puts access to topic-specific statistics at your fingertips. Topics include diseases and conditions, family life, health care and insurance, health status and risk factors, injuries, life stages and populations and reproductive health. Content is updated automatically when the device is connected to the internet, giving the user the most up-to-date health statistics available.
With this application, you can:
- View updated statistics on more than 100 public health topics
- Highlight, annotate, and bookmark important data within the app
- Share your data discoveries with colleagues through social media such as Facebook and Twitter
